At the end of May a cycling four act opera will be played in southern Poland. Beskidy MTB Trophy is an absolute must-be for mountain biking enthusiasts. This is, beyond any doubt, the hardest bike race held in this part of Europe and one of the most demanding ones worldwide. It is not only about the altitude or elevation. Here the cards are being held by technical, wild and virgin trails – one of the last of its kind in civilized part of Europe.
Boarder trails through Czantoria, Stożek or queen climb of Rysianka are definitely not going to be left out this year. We are also not leaving Czech Beskids behind, which offer more trails than we could possibly fit in one stage at once. If the weather is going to be kind for us, you will have a unique opportunity to experience beautiful views of Tatra mountains (the highest mountain range in Poland), while riding the best local single tracks placed in Rysianka mountain group.
We want to make the Trophy more available for the less experienced and undecided riders who feel a bit overwhelmed by the Trophy’s legend. That is why we offer a shortened version of the race. It will also consist of 4 stages, but they are going to be shorter (approx. 40-50 km). The whole race will cover around 170km. Do not be afraid – those of you who choose the short option will also get a pass to the real “Beskid ecstasy”. Less quantity does not mean less quality.
Each year we set you new challenges and provide riders with fresh attractions. Every subsequent edition covers broader area of Beskidy. Trophy is great fun and gives you satisfaction of victory over the trails, the mountains and, most importantly, over yourself. In this race the win is often a question of strong will and physical crises are overcome by the strength of one’s head. The shortened version of our stage race is a way to encourage the less experienced riders to taste “the Beskid ride” without pushing their limits too far. Not only the winners of the classic Trophy distance, but all Finishers will feel the pride of achieving ambitious goals.
